Scribe

Until recently, we used to sell a product aimed specifically at software developers called "Scribe". The purpose behind Scribe was to provide the means to generate software licensing templates at the click of a button that were technically correct, giving software developers the means to write license terms documentation with a minimum of fuss and without the need to employ expensive legal eagles.

The intention was to provide a simple to use tool that would reduce costs associated with software development, particularly for small companies like ourselves.

We had high hopes for the product which seemmed to be borne out by the number of downloads and initial registrations. However, we have subsequently discovered that a number of unscrupulous purchasers have distributed, illegally, copies of the templates that underpin "Scribe". The net result is that sales have been significantly reduced to the point where it is no longer economically viable to continue supporting the product. Reluctantly therefore we have discontinued it.
